Children's Minister

We are seeking a Part-Time Children's Minister. 

The role of the Children's Minister is to oversee and coordinate all aspects of the FBC Sonora Preschool and Children's Ministries. This will include Sunday Morning and Wednesday Night activities. This a thriving ministry in our church and we are seeking someone who has felt a calling into ministry.


Job Description


  • Coordinate the Children's Programs. 
  • These include: Sunday Morning Children's Worship, Sunday Morning Bible Study, Wednesday Night Programs, Outreach events, Summer Camp, Nursery, VBS, CATS Basketball Program, etc. 
  • Enlist, train, and develop leadership for the various organizations in the Children's Ministries
  • Plan and conduct special events or projects for the Children's Ministry
  • Prepare and present Children's Ministry Budget
  • Serve on committees as assigned by the pastor.
  • Work as a team player with the rest of the ministerial staff

Worship Leader/Worship Pastor

We are seeking a part-time Worship Leader/Worship Pastor

The role of the Worship Leader/Pastor coordinate all worship services at FBC Sonora This will include Sunday Morning and Wednesday Night. This a growing ministry in our church and we are seeking someone who has felt a calling into ministry.


Job Description

  • Lead worship on Sunday Mornings and Wednesday Nights.
  • Schedule times for practice with praise team and musicians before worship services.
  • Coordinate Praise Team and other vocalist and musicians as needed to assist in leading worship.
  • Coordinate with Media Director to ensure proper audio set up and visual aids for worship services.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Senior Pastor.
