Wednesday evenings are an exciting time at FBC Sonora. Here’s what you can expect as you arrive for…

DINNER @ 5:30p.m.

We are blessed to share a freshly prepared meal together each week.  The cost is covered purely by donations.  We would love to have you join us at the MRC Café as we enjoy the meal and meeting together.

Wednesday evenings are the primary teaching time for our children’s and youth ministries at FBC Sonora. GPS (Gospel Project Sonora) begins for both groups at 6:00p.m. and concludes at 7:30p.m. Both youth and children are currently involved in the Gospel Project Chronological, a journey through the story of the Bible. For children in 5th grade and under, GPS starts with recreation time in the MRC Gym and then moves to the Church Building.  GPS for Kids is a time of interactive Bible teaching and hands on missions activities.

For students in 6th through 12 grades, GPS also starts in the gym and then transitions to the MRC Youth Room located at the far end of the gym. We begin with all students together for a time of prayer, and teaching before splitting into smaller groups (broken down by age and gender) to dig deeper into the night’s lesson and its application to our lives. About once a month, students will participate in a ministry or mission project. Some of those will take place at the church, while others may take us out into the community.

Prayer Meeting & Bible Study for adults follows dinner at 6:30p.m. in the MRC Café. We share in a time of singing, prayer, and a Bible lesson from our pastor. The service concludes at 7:30p.m.
